Lab Philosophy

Our lab thrives on curiosity, creativity, openness, and scientific rigor. We believe that diverse perspectives drive discovery, and we strive to foster a welcoming, inclusive environment where everyone feels welcomed and supported.

We are recruiting postdoctoral fellows, research assistants and students who share our interest in the functional development and plasticity of the somatosensory system.

Postdoctoral Researchers

Successful candidates bring strong neuroscience training, intellectual independence, and enthusiasm for multidisciplinary approaches.  Please email Anda with a CV, a brief cover letter outlining research goals and fit with the lab, and the names of three references.

Graduate Students

Students in Neuroscience, MCB, Therapeutic Sciences or Pathobiology graduate programs who are interested in joining the lab should email Anda to discuss projects.

To reserve a spot for lab rotation we encourage students to contact as early as possible.

Prospective students who are not yet enrolled at Brown should contact the Neuroscience Graduate Program for information on admission.

Undergraduate Students

We welcome undergraduates majoring in Neuroscience, Biology, Bioengineering, or Computational Biology. A minimum commitment of fifteen hours per week during the academic year and two summers of research is expected. Students are encouraged to apply for internal fellowships to support their summer work.
